Records and Information Management Month Round-Up
Thank you to everyone who joined us in observing Records and Information Management Month. We kept things simple this year with a presentation of “23 in 23: Little Things Can Make a Big Difference.” To view the presentation and download the accompanying checklist, please visit our post-event page.
Bonus Content!
We have added a new section to our DRMC SharePoint site! When we come across a records management resource that is extra helpful, we will spotlight it in our Bonus Content section. Our inaugural items include a series of videos from the University of Toronto that provide a quick but thorough introduction to records management basics. We also have two perspectives on file naming systems, one from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission and the other from the University of Washington.
UTRRS Guidebook
If you aren’t familiar with the UTRRS Guidebook, we invite you to take a look! It tells you everything you need to know about the UTRRS: how to use it, what the codes and abbreviations mean—even those mysterious abbreviations in front of the item codes—and links to all of the references and resources you could possibly need.
