First Working Day of Records and Information Management Month!
It is daunting to think that under Texas law we have a responsibility to manage all the information we create and receive every working day, not to mention the information collected over the years now residing in various enterprise systems, servers, repositories, file cabinets, closets, and basements.
In honor of Records and Information Management Month, we want to share a presentation that doesn’t bring about perfect order or solve every records retention and disposition problem, but instead provides great tips and practices to help us interact with information more effectively and sets us up to succeed in meeting our records management responsibilities.
Please join us on April 19, 2:00-3:00 pm, for a brief, fast-paced presentation of 23 things you can do or plan for that will make 2023 the year you begin to fight back against information overwhelm. Please visit our event page and sign up in UT Learn.
This training is intended for everyone who creates or receives information in the course of their daily work duties, but it will be especially helpful for Department Records Management Contacts and will serve as their annual records management refresher course.
We all have a lot of work to do, and most of it isn’t records management. Developing records management awareness and good habits will help you with all your work.
We hope to see you soon!
